The Black Studio - Hair Salon

I asked around a lot to find a salon that was good at lightening dark hair and found The Black Studio. Both me and my daughter booked in for consultations and then colour and style. My daughter had her light brown hair lightened to a great pearl blond. The team at the salon had some 6th sense and after listening to what she was after just got busy with it. My daughter was pretty nervous but loved the result and they advised it would lighten further over time - which it has . The cut was perfect- enough to be styled without being too much. My hair is tricky to cut and many have tried to give it texture before and failed - but not Sky. I was freaking out at how much he cut into it but the result was brilliant- perfect length and sections that didnt make me want to keep it tied up all the time. The colour was natural but different enough to tide me over to the next visit. They are great at both natural colours and the extreme so just let them know if you want extreme! Amazing atmosphere. Sky the stylist and owner really makes you feel at home, relaxed and listened to. Great stylist and magic with colors!
