Nicole is awesome at her art of manicures. On holiday from Wellington and broke one of my nails, so I stupidly shot into a nail salon at Sylvia Park. Worst experience and final result ever. Lumpy, crooked tips and completely not the colour I wanted. Nicole is a angel. I walked off the street and she fitted me in. She took the time to correct the awful mess that my nails were in and did an amazing job. LOVE THE COLOUR. Nicole went above and beyond my expectations. If I lived in Auckland Gentle Pink would be my go to Nail Salon for sure. Thank you again Nicole I am so very thankful Service: Manicure

5 STAR customer service, set up & the ladies were wonderful! Loved the nails & the unexpected photoshoot request was a nice surprise BUT. things that let this salon down were the pedicure basins that are on a high platform like a mini stage? This was really unpractical & quite uncomfortable. I do see the vision for it as they sit levelled to your feet & its easier on their backs BUT its inconvenient for the customer who in this setting is more important. Having to step up on a really high platform, try not to fall slipping onto the seat & then getting back down. Really not practical for elderly, disabled or someone of a bigger frame & if you werent aware of the seating not too sure how an alternative seating would be arranged. I was asked if it was ok to take photos of my manicure & pedicure which was fine. I had no extra details just a red coat on both hands & feet. I came with another person who got hands & feet done, she wasnt asked to have her photos taken? We had different colours too & watching me have my photos taken & not hers made both of us feel a little uncomfortable. Not wanting to pointing out race or anything but it was a situation where thats what popped in both of our minds which wasnt a nice feeling. The other let down was the prices have had my nails done for over a decade & have never paid almost $300 for a simple red gel manicure & gel pedicure OMG! I had to double check when paying that the total was correct. A luxurious salon definitely for those who dont mind climbing up a platform for a pedicure & a heavy wallet. Otherwise a beautiful & friendly space.

The experiences with them previously were ok . It was my fifth visit because I wanted to use my discount . On my loyalty card , it says you will get 10 dollars off on your fifth visit . But they insisted that you will get 10 dollars off on my next visit , which will be the sixth visit . This is very misleading . And I dont agree with them at all . But I dont want to ruin my day by arguing with us . So I just left . Also I gave them design before head . I was not told they wasnt able to do the nail paint. The design I wanted had heart painted on the nails . But they put the sticker instead . I was not 100% satisfied . But once again I just want to save the day by not saying too much . I wont go back . They can save their 10 dollar discount to themselves. So if you have your loyalty card with them , please double check with them . Dont get confused . Services: Gel manicures, Nail designs
