Awful experience. We had laminate flooring installed throughout our house and had issues from the start. Both the product and labour is very poor quality. The installers don't speak English so we had to communicate either via Google translate or through the business owner, Michael, via phone. Far from ideal. If you don't watch them constantly, they will try to take shortcuts. Some of the problems include: - Installers tried to use bits of cardboard from packaging to level things out. - To fix squeaky boards, they used acrylic glue along the edge of boards, spreading it with a finger, leaving shiny trails on the board surface. - To remove the shiny glue marks, they had to import glue remover and also used a scraper, which only partially worked. - They glued some of the boards to the subfloor because they do not interlock properly and so they move - that shouldn't be done with floating boards. - The bullnosing fell off a number of stairs because of insufficient glue. - Skirting boards don't line up. The installers were not interested in fixing issues when they came up and repairs were ongoing for a year. In the end I managed to negotiate a partial refund but I'll still be out of pocket because I will need to replace the flooring well before its expected lifespan.

BUYER BEWARE MicroMall do not stand by their products and will not honour their warranties. I purchased an off-grid solar kit from MicroMall approximately 6 months ago. After some initial issues in the delivery of the batteries (it took several months to receive them) the system was set up and appeared to working as expected. However, recently one of the batteries has developed a fault. Since the kit comes with a 1-year warranty and the batteries comes with a five-year warranty, I contacted MicroMall via email and their support page for help. With no reply from either after a month I took the battery to them to discuss. I was confronted by a very aggressive staff member who constantly yelled at me when I tried to discuss the problem. He wasnt open to discussing the issue and was defiantly pushing the blame onto me (he argued that the default settings of the invertor werent correct for the batteries even though the solar panels, invertor and batteries were supplied by MicroMall together as a kit). After enduring a tirade of abuse and not getting anywhere near a resolution I abandoned any hope of getting help or support from MicroMall and left. I noticed that while I was being yelled at, another customer had turned up with a product looking for support I can only assume that their enquiry ended in a similar manner to mine. My advice is: if intend to buy anything from MicroMall then do so with the understanding that it comes with no warranty or support.
