        Have finally got my father to move from this practice after more than 10 years of trying. His loyalty has cost him some quality of life, that is for sure. He has consistently shown such a lack of care and interest for an older adult that it is almost verging on negligent. Whether it is compassion fatigue or disinterest I can't say but really, avoid this practice.
