AA Battery Service

I was looked after well for an hour. Good people.

Good prompt service by contractor in attendance, battery supplied so far running OK. Service operated in conjunction with 'Club Assist' who appear to do much of the roadside call out work for Motoring clubs across Australasia.

Will not honor warranty on new battery because of no prove of purchase, batteries are clearly date stamped .AA are not to be trusted , the AA brand is being damaged by dodgey actions.

The worst service ever. Bought an upgraded battery from them for my car and when an interior light was left on the battery went flat. Called the service and explained this. They jumped the car and told me to drive for 20mins and it would be fine. Did so but battery still flat. Took to an AA dealer for an overnight charge. I was told the battery would be fine. Next day battery was flat. Took the car to my mechanic who tested it again and told me the battery was faulty. The battery was only six months old so was under warranty, AA refused to replace the battery as I told them I wanted to drive it to a show and they then deemed it to be a show car so not covered under warranty. Two weeks of phone calls, emails to organisers to prove it was not in a show and backwards and forwards between callers and finally replaced. I sent in a complaint but have heard nothing back. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE for a new battery, they are more expensive than most and do not help under warranty.
