I've been seeing Dr Russell Wyness for over a year now. I have always found him very easy to talk to and he listens to my concerns and involves me in treatment options. I have had both in person and zoom appointments with him. Any time we make a medication change he always asks me to text or call him over the next few days so he can see how I'm going. My last psychatrist did not accept calls outside of appointments so I couldn't discuss medication side effects with him (terrible), so I very much appreciate how easy to contact Russell is and how he really does want to know how medications are going for people. It is often quite a wait for an initial appointment or a general follow up (2-3 months), but I did need an urgent appoinment recently and I was able to see him via Zoom on the same day. The receptionsts are not always warm and friendly, but they are not rude and are very helpful in regards to urgent appointments, making any follow up appointments or repeat prescriptions.
