Momo Junction

Tucked away in Great North Road, Henderson, Momo Junction can be described as a hidden gem. We visited the eatery on a Saturday for an early lunch and were the first and only customers there. The service was great, the restaurant was clean and the food was amazing. It was nice to eat flavours from parts of India that was not the cliche butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. Momos are the Indian version of dumplings and this place specialises in these beautiful treats. If this restaurant was located in a better location it would get the customers it deserves. Sadly a place like Henderson city does not give this restaurant justice.

Absolutely amazing place. The food was amazing and flavourful. We celebrated my partner's birthday here and they went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. The owner personally wished my partner twice! We were given complimentary tea which was so lovely of them. Really fantastic place and all in all a perfect night. Cannot recommend this place enough. Vegetarian options: In almost all the mains, we saw vegetarian options. Two people at our table were vegetarians and they had plenty of choices and enjoyed their time here.

Food was really good especially their specialty momos. I like more the spicy one than the jhol (soupy) option. We ate on a Wednesday night and it was not crowded. The staff was friendly and she informed us of the waiting time for the pork momos. We went to Momo Junction because it is included in the Top Metro Cheap Eats 2021. It was worth visiting it and I will definitely come back to try other momos and will even recommend to friends.
