Mad Campers | Campervan Rental & Hire NZ

We booked the Mad 2 for about 2 weeks. It's one of the best decisions we had ever made. The customer service was amazing. They were so accommodating with our requests. The replies were always fast. Picking up the van in their Auckland office was smooth and easy. The van was spacious and came with everything we needed from kitchenware to duvet and pillows. We drove around the north and south islands. Dropping off at the Christchurch location was easy and they had free shuttle service to take you to the airport there. Overall, the best way to see New Zealand is to rent one of the vans and drive around! We highly recommend Mad Camper!

Connor and the rest of the Mad Camper team took such good care of us on our New Zealand trip. We had a total of 7 days to tackle an ambitious itinerary and the team was super responsive and helpful the whole way. It is inevitable that issues will arise on a trip like this and the way Mad Campers backed us up every time shows us how wonderful they are and we can only hope we get to work with them again in the future.

Highly recommend using Mad Campers! We had the MAD2 van which was just perfect for a couple like us! Had everything you need for the trip including sink, bedding, chilly bin, gas hob, kitchen equipment you needed, adapter ports, safe, lights, curtains for privacy, self contained including toilet and extra storage. Also had a user guide which was helpful during our travels. No issues - all was smooth and staff were always happy to answers any questions before and after and was so accommodating and helpful! :) will be using them again next time!
