I would not recommend this hairdresser they made a mistake with my hair and completely changed the colour my hair was dyed and then refused to correct their mistake without me paying for it. When I asked them to correct their mistake they repeatedly made up things and tried to put the blame on me for their mistake, their excuses were ridiculous. Previously they also cut my hair lobsided and I had to go to another hairdresser to get it cut correctly. One time, at Freedom, the other hairdressers owned by same company at Hunters Corner, after having dye applied my head got very hot and painful. When I told the two hairdressers that my head was sore, they did absolutely nothing. I just had to sit there and suffer in silence. I never went back to Freedom after that. After over 7 years of getting my hair dyed and cut at firstly Freedom and then Hairport I would not recommend these companies because of the unprofessional and offensive way they treated me. Fml! How I wished that I had checked the reviews before trialling this place! Now usually when I get my underarms/upper lip waxed Im very flexible I dont generally fuss over it unless its the brows lol. Anywho, I walked in at about 4:00 (30min before closing) one of the ladies was waiting outside seemed very interested in assisting me! (Great start). Now as go to get myself comfortable for my waxing she insists lets start with the underarm 5min later she decided oh no lips instead. While half of my belly was out to the world she then goes to open the doorwhile conversations with the others (Im guessing to check what the time was) as she goes on with threading it felt as though the sis was blind and had forgotten which part or the upper lip was located on my face! At this point I was annoyed as it felt like she had to rush to god knows where! Then we go onto my underarm (the interesting part) after a good minute of stirring the wax instead of giving it a quick temperature test she proceeded to add a chunk of slab onto my armpits which felt like table spoon of boiling hotwater. I reacted to the heat hoping indicating that her wax was extremely hot trusting that she would look into checking the temperature or at least attempting to test it. Nope! The sis decided lets apply another patch, before I knew it a second coat had touched my skin on same spot which has me jumping the hell out knowing damn well either the staff was not well trained or certified. I had shared my opinion advising if she could next time for the sake of the customers safety to PLEASE check the temperature and also be more precise as this could have gone really bad! Her reply your skin might be sensitive haha it doesnt take sensitive skin to know what hot boiling water feels like. Also, it should have been a clear indication when stirring the wax gel the texture appeared very watery now you put an extremely high level of head to a slab of honey wax you will notice the texture changes allowing the product to loosen. I was happy to pay for my patchy upper lip but sadly walked away with one burnt under arm and one hairy armpit lmao Thankfully the lovely ladies at the nail salon (the green coloured salon) was kind enough to do the other arm which I thought was funny cause the nail technician did such a wonderful job lol Hairport management - it might help to look into your services and start implementing proper training this was beyond shocking. The next person may not be very nice - so take these reviews as a guiding principle to fix your services and hopefully get those stars up! Anyways that was my day in the life review!
