Rotorua Motel ASTRAY

I've gotta say, this hostel is definitely one of the nicer ones I've stayed at. The location is central, which is a big plus, but you might wanna crack a window to keep cool. I actually stayed here twice and both times were great. They only offer private rooms, but the price is still super reasonable compared to other hostels that have shared rooms. It's pretty amazing!

The Astray Motel is a pretty sweet spot. I gave it five stars 'cause it totally fit the bill for us. The front desk dude was super friendly and welcoming. We've actually stayed here before 'cause it's just a few minutes away from Rotorua Lake. Our room was super clean and the bed was really comfy. Plus, the bedside lamps were bright enough to read by. We didn't hear any road noise since we snagged a room in the back. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a chill and cozy spot.

The rooms are both spacious and tidy, and the common areas (including the restrooms and kitchen) are impressively clean. Plus, there are complimentary essentials like oil, tea, coffee, bread, sugar, and salt to make your stay even more enjoyable. Although onsite parking is limited, there are plenty of free parking spots nearby. We highly recommend this spot for your next stay in Rotorua!
