Pros
Bed was comfortable.
Managers/owners were cheerful.
Staff bought washing over to our unit when it finished drying.
Cons
Three times needed to contact managers/owners by phone and wait and wait.... (Check-in and 2 inquires)
English was a second language for the managers/owners.
Lots of gestures and searching for key words that both parties understood.
Only water supply in unit was hand basin next to shower.
Had a microwave - but nothing to put food in it to heat.
TV aerial connection was faulty. Initially until I mucked around with the connection, screen was heavily pixelated.
Only TVNZ channels were available.
Had a spa which worked for 8 minutes and then turned off for 5.
To turn it back on required getting out of the spa pool.
Roof in spa had not been cleaned for quite a while
Conclusion
It's very definitely a low budget motel.
Wouldn't stay there again and would not recommend it to anybody
