You know where to buy a great coffee when u spot a cafe full of locals. So Sidetrack was my go to coffee spot voted by a resounding local presence. I have to say my decision to not eat was a terrible one. The food cabinet had a full offer of delicious and fresh fare. Gourmet sausage rolls and pies, slices, scones, muffins, wraps plus a ton of wicked looking sweet treats. Great place to stop after burning calories climbing the mount. Staff were attentive and the coffee was one of the best we had tried (on a par with Tay Street Cafe which is also great). Nice work Team!

We went for breakfast, got our drinks and waited 55 mins before we followed up on our food as other tables arriving later was getting theirs served. The staff came and told us our ticket was behind the till so it didn't get sent through to the kitchen, they offered a half sincere apology. Just got got our refund for the food; would have expected a discount to be given or something. They did offer some options to wait for our food (but one item would take a while) refund or takeout option.
