What a pleasure to see friendly and welcoming staff, all in an atmosphere of Brazilian music that puts you in a good mood. The food and coffee were good. However, the tables were quite dirty and sticky. Apart from that, it was a very good experience.

My friend and I discovered this unique gem of a cafe on our last day in Mt. Maunganui. Which is very unfortunate, since I would have liked to come here everyday, trying out all of their delicious baked goods and Brazilian street food, accompanied by a great coffee. The three women working that day were from Brazil (so the food is authentic!), incredibly warm & welcoming & the customer service was above & beyond. And we only bought a few simple things for the road trip we were setting out on. Mt. Maunganui has a very beachy, holiday vibe, and Ours cafe fits right in: bright, airy & inviting.
