We use the manage my health app to get a repeat script you then write in the message part for extra medication and all you get is the repeat script not the extra required so they don't read the comments you leave for extra medication to your script, this has happened twice so far now I have to drive there to sort it out why have an app!

I have been attending this Dr clinic ever since I arrived in Whakatane over 9 years ago, love the caring reception staff and Doctors; they help me to understand medical terms etc.

Rude, Receptionist is rude cleary no help at all, rude to talk to, didn't think I'd leave a phone call more stressed after speaking with her.

Tue-29-03-23 was the worst experience that I have had to date at The Doctors Kopeopeo. To the best of my knowledge a consult visit in Nz is 15minutes. My consultation time was 3-4 minutes. I entred the Doctor's room (Dr Nicola Butt) she appeared to be unwell, this was evident when she removed her face mask and coughed throughout my consult. Disgusting considering wearing a maks is mandatory to prevent the spread of covid! (She obviously didn't get this memo). I had her fill out my Acc form which took no less than 3 minutes, no questions asked! She then proceeded to say my time was up and if I had anything else to talk about I should have made 2 or 3 appointments. So effectively I've been charged $20+ to have a germ spreading doctor during my 3 minutes. Her professionalism is questionable!. This medical practice is one of many reasons the Nz health care system is failing us because healthcare is now monetised and we are pigeon-holed into 15minute time slots. It seems this medical practice prioritizes money over our health and wellbeing! Really sad!! Understandably it may be the only Doctor's available in a small town! But if your looking to enroll here, I wouldn't!! Biggest mistake I have made whilst transitioning into Whakatane!.. Wealth over health!!

I must say this has been the most unreliable and incompetent Doctors clinic I have ever experienced. I have had nothing but poor commutation and unfair fees and no accountability for their short comings since day one. I have since moved my children on to another GP else where and will not suggest to anyone that they consider this clinic at all. Front Desk staff have poor PR skills (if any). They are quick to charge you but very poor at putting scripts through to your pharmacy to where Ive been over prescribed and notified by multiple nurses in spite of having already picked a script up. I have had to follow up scripts a week or so on, that were not even sent in the first instance! They are the only Doctors (in 14 years of being a parent) whom have failed to make me aware of immunisations that are due for my children. They have caused me to take afternoons off from work and travel half an hour to an appt only to have to rebook because there is such poor communication between front desk & Doctors or between nurses. Not at all impressed and in fact quite worrisome !
