        The beautiful Herries Park Floral Steamer, adjacent to the Herries Memorial Arch, was created from succulents in the 1930s by Charles Cameron, noted botanist and who, at that time, was the Tauranga Borough Gardener. It's amazing that it still flourishes to this day. It's a very popular feature with locals and tourists alike.
