Apex Car Rentals Christchurch Airport

Got a Mitsubishi outlander. It didnt have the greatest smell getting into the car. Customer service is average.

This rating as Apex don't accept NSW government app electronic drivers licences. So if you don't have your original licence from whichever country plus international if applicable you can't pick up the car or be a driver. This is written nowhere in the terms and conditions. We did contact them but there was no response and the staff at the local offices can't help. We were faced with a months driving holiday all to be done by the one person. Very tiring and not the planned relaxing break. Presume if one of us didn't have the original licence we wouldn't of been able to rent the car. Could of been a disasterous holiday

One issue I have with this depot is their willingness to substitute an inferior vehicle for the one I book online. Fit for purpose and like for like are important considerations. It would be nice if Apex bothered to ask why I chose a particular vehicle. Golden rule - always treat customers how you would like to be treated.
