We can highly recommend the Kuga Campervan from Travellers Autobarn as we rented the car for two and a half months and had a pretty good time with it. Positive points: + great price performance ratio + the car was in a good condition and cleaned well at pickup + the layout of the interior is great: it offers plenty of storage space and enough space for 2-3 people on a rainy day + the solar panel on the camper did provide enough electricity for us on the whole trip (we did not need powered campsites at all). As not all Kuga Vans have solar panels, ask for it prior pickup + the bed and the high-top is large enough for tall people (1.92m) + the windows have been darkened (not all vans have privacy glas) + service has been very friendly Some criticism: o the engine is a bit weak for the weight of the car, driving up the hills takes a lot of time o the curtains are not fully lightproof as on other campervans o dirt roads are not covered by the insurance. Travellers Autobarn should think about a extra insurance which covers dirt roads (there are so many beautiful points in NZ, which are just accessible via dirt road)

Great company, especially Greg and Joseph where very helpfull in ChristChurch. We forgot our airpods in the van after checkOut, they brought them to us while we were on our way to the airport. Heros! We had a good experience with the campervan during our 3 weeks trip in NZ, would recommend!
