We had the Happy Camper 3 and absolutely loved it. The team were lovely in Christchurch when we went to pick up and were helpful answering any questions we had. I was really skeptical because of the reviews but you really do get exactly what you pay for and the camper looked exactly the same as it did in the pictures. Its obviously not brand new but me and my partner had no problems. Upon pick up we noticed an oil light, after calling we were advised to take it back to the garage so someone could take a quick look at it and all was fine. He was lovely and assured us not to worry, this only added on 30 minutes to our day and saved us weeks of worrying about it. The only real negative was the wait times when picking up the camper (it was a Monday morning so it was pretty busy). A suggestion to overcome this would be to potentially have staggered pick up times in order to ensure theres not too long a wait in the office before pick up. Again, this didnt really bother us but its worth mentioning especially if youre restricted for time. We loved the camper and our whole NZ experience and I would gladly use this service again.
