Makes sure you check over the vehicle top to toe front to back inside and out before leaving the yard or paying depot because once the deals done and you leave they won't want to know you. I would recommend you get your own mechanic to give it a look over..... wish I did

Finally, after 18 months renting a long-term car in Christchurch, I finally purchased. I had a year, make and model in mind - searching around car yards I found the price difference between 1-3 thousand at the approx same km's. All up, I took five for a test drive and Empire stood out with the best performance -and body work - by far After an AA check - the car passed with excellent results. They were happy to negotiate the price, and added a replacement stereo and a new battery. Geogia is a young girl and communicates professionally, but sometimes had to chase things up - but no big deal. I enjoyed our chats and she's genuine, so is her Manager. As a women buying a car in Christchurch- I'd recommend Empire 100%., but just be prepared to recognise they aren't the usual sales pitch type of car yard, but I'd say the most trustworthy. I'll come back in three months after warranty ends - if anything changes. Also, they were broken into last night too - so, poor Eric (below) must have had a hard time. But, equally think of them. Good they've upped their security.
