I love the VR Radiography Simulation application. An alternative teaching environment with a stress-free clinical practice opportunity for students at their desired location. I feel so lucky that I came across this application, and I can gain more experience. I appreciated James Hayes and his team for providing this fabulous educational application for all students around the world.

This Skilitrics Radiologic Technology Virtual Reality system has been an exceptional addition for our UWM RT program. Student feedback over the years has been, 'We wish we had more time in labs', and or 'it would be great if labs could be held at times that worked better with our hectic class and work schedules' Now, with the Skilitrics Virtual Reality system, students can have a lab anytime they want right from the comfort of own home! With this program Students are able to work through their weaker areas thus gaining the confidence needed to perform Radiology procedures accurately and more consistently in the clinical setting; without the dangers of over exposure to ionizing radiation to our patients or themselves. Skilitrics also offers students the opportunity of reporting to a Virtual Reality lab on campus, where, when they put on the oculus headset, are literally in an X-Ray room complete with patient, X-ray tube, and control panel. Feedback is then given to the students on their performance. What they did well and what needs some more work. This VR Rt program truly is a win-win, and I wish we could have offered this system to our students sooner.
