Eastern Drycleaners & Alterations (Ilam)

Unfortunately the place we preferred to use machine was broken so we took jacket here to be dry cleaned. Came back looking like it had to steamed and not cleaned at all! Strongly recommend reading the other reviews.

I use Eastern Drycleaners for their excellent pick up/drop off service and quick turn around times. Today however, I opted to drop in to Ilam instead. Great location and the store is well presented and clean. But the customer service was below average. It could be the busy time of year but the person who served me was cold and lacked basic knowledge about the services which resulted in me having to return to the store later to pick up my items and use another company. I will stick to the pick up/drop off service.

I took in a pair of trousers that had some grease spots - pretty sure it was butter. they came back with the same spots and a 'special notice'. I asked if they could be sent again and if they could do more. They came back in the same condition, so my wife put a bit of spot cleaner on them, washed them and they came out completely clean. Waste of time and money having them dry cleaned by your company. Service: Dry cleaning

Had an issue with shrinkage on an item - enough that it was unwearable - and they simply stopped replying to emails about it to try rectify the issue and discover if it was a manufacture issue or their fault. So now I have a ruined dress and no answers or solution. Wouldn't use again, not because of the shrinkage (these things happen) but because of how it was handled.
