"Overpriced" for what was offered as a boutique lodge so not! The room was not sound proof, the main door hollow material with gaps of light coming through, being able to hear the people's next Door at it. The jug was so small that you could only get enough water for two small cups. Our bedroom wall had the air conditioning unit behind it so noise all night, after along days drive one didn't get much sleep. The table outside with a non private feel due to the other rooms window looking into it was dirty, paying $189 & getting a nice bathroom as the rest was a complete let down was over the top pricing! We stayed in Blenheim at the Vintners on a vineyard paying the same amount getting a seperate bedroom,kitchen & lounge plus big bathroom all modern. Also around the other towns got spacious places for $165 Oamaru & Wanaka $148 Wyndham hotel fabulous & new clean big room. Really disappointed & feel like we should be getting some money refunded back. Sorry for writing such a bad review as I always praise places just not this stay!
