Hanmer Springs Coziest Holiday Home

We stayed for one-night, on a last minute booking in Hanmer Springs. We phoned and booked in person, which was much appreciated by the owner - Tristan - who even gave us a little discount. The home is perfect - a solidly built 'challet', with kitchen, large TV, comfy chairs, nice shower and bedrooms. He even offered to let us use his outdoor power socket to charge up our hired Telsa Model 3 - which gave us 50% charge overnight, perfect to get to Christchurch. Tristan recommended the local Asian takeaway (Mr Yunan) - which was some of the best we've had in NZ in 5 years! PS - perhaps only improvement is a tiny extension cable on the outdoor socket to give a bit more flexibility to plug in a chunky EV power cable which pointed out at an angle

Stayed here recently with my mum who was visiting from the UK and we had an awesome time. This little home from homes is absolutely perfect, it has everything you need, stylish mod-cons everywhere and you honestly couldn't hope for more. Tristan our host was super friendly and couldn't do enough for us - even letting us charge our Electric Car using his outdoor plug. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Hanmer Springs, and we will certainly be in touch next time we are passing through :)
