The Heights Hanmer Springs

We paid to stay here but didn't stay in the end as the terms and conditions received after payment were so onerous as to put us off staying entirely. I gave feedback to the owner directly and put a review on Bookabach (which I can't see there now). I do think people renting out places like this need to remember people want a holiday not a cleaning bee at someone else's place when they go away, especially for just a night or two. What are we paying for if we have to bring just about everything and spring clean everything?

My family and I used this holiday home for 2 nights via a booking website. Unfortunately we would not recommend if you have younger children Pros: -Wifi and chromecast. -Tv is smart with Netflix,Freeview and Disney Plus. -Hot tub. -Washing Machine. -Friendly neighborhood cats who greet you at the door in the morning. Good view of forestry. Cons: -NO AIR CONDITIONING. Had us looking for other accommodation during first night's stay. -Floors are very loud/creaky. Every room and the deck creaks with the lightest walk. Good probably if your stating aline. Bad with sleeping kids. -Not safe for young children. Low cupboards with glassware for easy access. 2 drawers of knives and a basket of firewood in arms reach.
