I do not suggest renting from these guys, unless you are experienced in driving broken vehicles..... I went to Christchurch to pick up my van, as excited as ever and on the second day both back doors stopped working which makes the bed super hard to convert. I then called them to get help on their provided emergency phone number, and it took 3 THREE days for them to call me back. They asked me to drive to Christchurch from Mount Cook to get a new Van... with no compensation for fuel or time out of my trip. This first van also came with no windshield washer fluid, no stove fuel (had to purchase for myself) both of the "free" camping chairs I was given were broken. I picked up my second Van and now this one has a fridge that has stopped working twice, and spoiled my food which isn't cheap.... also the fridge smells terrible and the smell leaks into the van which makes sleeping GROSS. The front end of the VAN (NNG420) also wobbles aggressively when you are breaking, so much so I felt the front left tire would wobble right off, it barely starts in the morning and again no windshield washer fluid. If you book one of these vans TEST EVERYTHING before you leave the parking lot.... cause once your on the road you are on their own. Truth be told there are many other van companies in New Zealand I would say book with one of them before this burnt out, understaffed company that does not care about their customers.

Good service, friendly staff, but the GPS could have been up to date because it didnt show all the roadworks and that was a problem when you didnt know the area

Huge wait time, not acceptable when people have booked a collection time and made other plans for the remainder of the day. Some others had waited 7 hours! Felt so bad for them. I understand staffing crisis, but perhaps limit your bookings to what you can actually cater for if the vehicle cannot be detailed and ready in time. We will be expecting at least a full days refund..
