In February, we arranged car hire with RAD for our adventure in NZ. The car provided was clean and just about new. What we didnt realise was that most cars now simply rely on the hirer hooking up their mobile phone to the cars display in order to navigate through the maps app. Several new cars dont have Sat.Nav built in. We didnt have a NZ SIM card so couldnt use our mobile. However, Matt from RAD came to our rescue, assisting us with the loan of an old Sat Nav at no cost at the start of our adventure. Matt took his time to set up the borrowed Sat Nav and gave us loads of advice on following certain roads in order to get to our destinations. If it hadnt been for his time and patience on a busy Tuesday morning, we would have been snookered and our trip ruined. If that wasnt enough, we returned the car a week later and Matt took it upon himself once again to drop us off at the Novotel in the Airport at Christchurch as the shuttle bus was already being utilised. A big thanks to Matt and the team.
