I normally dont bother writing negative reviews, but we have been mucked around so badly by Christchurch aircon nz. I contacted them 2 months ago wanting full electrical, insulation, full house led lights, and upstairs and downstairs ducted heat pump and ventilation systems in a 3 bedroom house. A huge amount of money for a young family that we were looking at spending. I explained to aircon nz at the beginning we were needing the work done within the next 8 weeks before our first baby arrives, told it wasnt a problem. My husband took leave off work 3 seperate afternoons so we could meet with aircon nz to measure and go through the house ect. After making many phone calls and emails following up after each visit follow up visit, we still havent even been emailed a quote 2 months down the line and 3 home visits later. We are now only 2 weeks off our new baby arriving in a house far too cold, and not enough time to engage with another company to have the work done. We were told there were supply issues for heat pumps, which we understand and were flexible with, but still after multiple follow up up phone calls to see if they could give us alternative brands (some brands which we were told were available right now and not waiting on shipments)- still no quote or booking in to do the work. I honestly dont understand with the huge sum of money we were looking at spending with them why they would drop the ball with this its baffling. Weve wasted so much time, and have a cold house with a newborn on the way, its added a lot of stress to trying to get ready for a baby being mucked around and told it could be done and now we cant get anything sorted in time in the middle of winter. I would not recommend this company for any of their services.

A young man from Aircon came to assess our home insulation and heating efficiency. What an impressive, polite young man. Very friendly and helpful and a positive personality. His name was James Kerr, a credit to his Employer and someone my wife and I won't forget in a hurry.

Do not use this company. I have had terrible customer service from this business, I have been lied to and fobbed off. I have been stonewalled and it isn't good enough. It has cost me money and time and my family has suffered for it.

Did a great job checking our insulation and certifying it. Very honest and professional. Definitely be using them again. Andrew
