I stayed in the standalone unit at the back which was clean, cosy and comfortable. Whilst a little small, the unit came well equipped with everything I needed and I appreciated the extra privacy. Location near the centre of Twizel is an obvious plus as well. Rachel is also a lovely host and very accommodating!

We stayed here for 2 nights this past weekend. We stayed in Unit 1 (King unit). Being from the Northern Waikato we were worried about the place being cold - but it was lovely and toasty! We're not built for minus 2 degree temps at 0700! But we didn't have to worry at all. We both remarked that we would be happy to make this our base even for a longer period of time - it had everything we needed... perhaps our spoilt selves might have appreciated a dishwasher, but we are a bit boujee. If you need caffeine - head to Hydro Cafe on the Market Square. They are open from 0700 Mon-Sat... about a 4 minute walk from the accomodation. And it's good coffee!

Unit 4. Very comfortable and warm. Has all that we needed for a 2night stay. Bathroom is very small and shower door needs some attention.
