One of the floor layers used my tap at the back of my house and took the connection off my house. I told them about this and never got a reply. I guess they are happy for their staff to steal something from their customers and not do anything about it

Lately (post Cyclone Gabrielle) there has been an amazing culture of humanity. People have stepped up for complete strangers. Today I had a taste of inhumanity that actually made me cry. I went to Carpet Court, who supplied and layed new flooring throughout our home a couple of years ago. Explained our house was flooded and it could be a couple of years before it was ready to be re floored. I explained we are going to live in our tiny house/caravan until then and I was after a quote to have vinyl layed. He refused to quote the job. Said none of his team would want to do the job. I said we aren't looking for any favours and would he let me ask them myself. He was adamant they would refuse and he could not give me any tradie names. I can't believe even one person would not want to do this job
