Yankiwi Retreat

This property is listed as 'A gem in the making' on airbnb and the host is the most unprofessional, abusive person I have ever had the misfortune to stay with. She was nice at first, but wanted to constantly hang out and incessantly gossiped about the other guest, basically implying that she is a loose woman. She turned suddenly when her puppy bit me on the foot, drawing blood and causing me to yelp in pain. It was like a switch flicked and suddenly she was furious at me, getting in my face asking what my problem is with her dog and why i'd care that a puppy 'nipped' me. It was all downhill from there, she eavedropped outside our window and insulted me to my husbands face asking why he would want to marry a woman like me. She came back later, and nicely suggested that a cancelation was best for all, yet when we agreed she once again flew into a rage, verbally abusing us the entire time we packed. She tried to falsely claim we damaged the property (thankfully i took video evidence to disprove this) and I see the other guest was also kicked out and slandered on AirBnB after the dog scratched her leg, drawing blood. We chose not to leave an AirBnB review after seeing the level of crazy the host responds with on there, and experiencing how little support AirBnB offer in these situations. In summary, avoid this place at all cost.

Filthy, dirty and not up to any sort of quality that you could expect from a bed and breakfast. Along the floor there were poop, pukes and other surprises left by the animals. When our host cooked us breakfast she cleaned the floor and then continued cooking without washing her hands inbetween. Really, for your own health and safety avoid this place at all cost! If you do get caught here and decide to leave early, note that the host will get angry and make up lies for why you decided to leave.
