        This place is great and really awesome People run the place really nice rooms ......even the hunted one.....!! Good meals, alot of history, the perfect place for a pit stop between Blenheim and Nelson

        Went out there on our motorcycles just for a ride. They quite an extensive menu, we had a ham and cheese toasted and a cheese,and 2 ciders. Throughly enjoyed.

        Stayed a couple of nights in our caravan in a nice grassy area out the back. A nice old school pub with decent pub grub. Just taken over by new owners who are lovely and friendly. Making a few improvements but preserving the pubs history. Worth a stop over. Good bit of NZ history. Pretty mean burger too! The place has had a paint ad tidy up and slowly being refined under new ownership. Still cold beers and reasonably priced pub food,as well as takeaway food and off license.
