        Very dated for the price of $200 pn. Stains on the carpet an drapes, shower not suitable for elderly people as a big step up an slippery. Not very quiet erea. The only plus is the location. Walkability: Location

        My partner and I booked to stay at the Outrigger Motel and had full intent to carry out our booking however due to the extreme weather from Cyclone Gabrielle it was impossible for us to reach Paihia, no busses running and all sorts of road closures. We were charged over $1000 for our intended stay and refused any type of refund. Outraged by the service and feel take taken advantage of in an already disastrous situation.
