TRG Imaging Reyburn St

Had a really disappointing experience at the one in Reyburn street. I was 21 weeks pregnant and needed an anatomy scan. I had one booked in and had some family members come up from Auckland as support. We were there on time and realised I had forgotten my form at home. I asked if there was anyway around this (if I could go home and grab the form and come back, or bring the form after my scan) and was told no. I phoned my midwife then and there and she spoke with the receptionist and she confirmed about me needing one, but this wasn't good enough. I have had both my previous scans at this radiology, so they had my information and previous scans. I was also told by the receptionist that an anatomy scan can only be done up till 22 weeks (I was on the very edge due to christmas holidays and trg imaging being closed for two weeks so I was unable to book much sooner). The next available appointment was two weeks away (and I was stressing out due to thinking I wasn't going to be able to have my scan on time). I was very lucky my family was there as I was very emotional about their lack of understanding or compassion We ended up leaving disappointed as they wouldn't give an ounce of leeway and phoned around different centres, we secured an appointment in one down in Auckland for the following Wednesday, and were told the scans can be done up to 26 weeks (later can make the results less accurate due to the baby getting bigger). While also at the other radiology appointment they told me they quite often have people forget their forms and will take a call from the midwife as confirmation as long as the form is bought into them via fax or email by the end of the day. I received awesome service from the woman at the Ponsonby Radiology, she took her time and walked me through the scan, as well as answered my questions in a patient and kind way. Over all the service was way below par, and feeding misinformation to an already stressed pregnant woman is horrible. The Sonographer Chad is cold and emotionless, his level of service is basically wham bam thank you ma'me. You're in and out without any real information given, and the receptionist, while compassionate, was misinformed and gave out incorrect info. If I could give a zero for this occurrence I would. I've since been told that this is common at this radiology and other woman have complained about receiving similar levels of service and the same type of 'understanding' when forgetting their forms. Would not recommend in the slightest and best to avoid unless you want the fast food of radiology clinics.
