The house was fantastic however on arrival the house was freezing all radiators were in the off position and controller off . It was night when we arrived and managed to get it on but it went off during the night and we were freezing overnight. It was the only place in 3 weeks travel round NZ that the house was cold on arrival and no electric blankets. I called hard courts first thing in the morning and was advised someone would come around 1030 i then got a phone call at 1030 and someone didn't come until late morning. The bbq ignition didn't work on bbq but hard courts did drop round a lighter. There was no paper, no kindling, 2 firefighters and a couple of matches so starting the fire was difficult and we had to go and buy all of those things to get fire going. It was also disappointing that initially we had booked this accommodation during covid period and due to border closures we couldn't come and again the only place in Nz that would not offer a refund. We were given a credit that had to be used by sept this year but only a couple of dates were available and due to our friends having a family emergency we did ask if it would be possible to try and resell our dates and if sold to get a refund. This was also refused. Quite unbelievable given it was easter and i'm sure there would have been no problem selling it on. Unsure if this was the owners decision or the leasing agent but very disappointing. The house itself is lovely and the views were amazing. However given this cost around $1000/night i would have expected at least the items above not have been an issue

We booked the large four bedroom holiday home on Hallenstein st for a weeks holiday with our extended family. It was the perfect space to accommodate our large group, with a great location and views. Though there were a couple of issues which couldn't have been foreseen, the owners /mangers were very quick to respond.
