        We stayed 2 nights at Hippo Lodge and that was absolutely a great experience. This stay is situated just around the Queenstown city centre and you can walk to the city easily. There is parking at the place (possible to park 6, 7 cars). The views from the 6 bed room is epic. Surely we will be returning to this place again, in near future.

        Basic hostel, but one of the cheaper options in Queenstown. Stayed here in July 2022, hostel was pretty basic, but the facilities (particularly the kitchen) were decent. Rooms were spacious (3-bed room) however the bunk was pretty uncomfy. Got pretty cold unless we left the heater on most of the time. Good location in the middle of Queenstown, however at the top of the hill so its a bit of a trek up after a night out, but only 5-10 mins or so to the lakefront.
