Thanks for the help with after hours pick up. The IVECO vans are not the best though. I especially had trouble with the auto gearbox on long downhill stretches.

Really enjoyed our trip the staff were great on pick up and drop off however it was missing the second dining table for the front area. We didnt want to have to make the bed up each night so we left it up so didnt have another dining option inside. There is no plug socket near the bench so using the electric jug was difficult as the cord wasnt long enough so you had to place it on the floor to boil. The seat cushions could be thicker not super comfy bed. We did have to call about the add blue warning on the dash as we werent told about it. It was nice to drive very clean and tidy just a few design flaws unfortunately. We could also bring our dog for an extra fee which personally I think should be based on the size of the dog.

The van we were given was fine at first, after travelling to the top of the South Island we found that no matter what we did, we were always cold when sleeping. We were in Invercargill and noticed the bedding was damp, after pulling the bed apart we found that the base mattress was wet and cold, we returned to Queenstown a day before our return date. I advised the young lady about the issues and her answer was, that happens a lot and cant do anything about it, basically didnt care. Never rent Maui again, very disappointed

Nice new motorhome with all that you would need on your trip. New Zealand really is well set up for camper travel. Will be using Maui again on our next trip
