        Beautiful DOC site. $10pp. Long drop toilets need old spider webs cleaned- Looks very un-cared for. Lots of parking space and some grassy areas for tents. Lake view is magic (shame about the pylons in the way). Only 3 campervans there when we visited in March 23. You do need to drive down a long gravel road to get here- its gave our old Toyota hiace a nasty ride due to the vibrations of the small bumps! Drive slow (20/30kph) and youll be fine.

        Stunning & remote - try and go early morning or late evening for spectacular light show as the sun beams thru through the southern alps and plays across the landscape. Amazing visuals, beautiful walks.
