Tempest on Wanaka

Room was beautifully decorated, bed was very comfortable with gorgeous luxurious feeling linen. Towels were high quality, shower and water pressure excellent. Hosts were friendly and inviting. And there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room (cookies as well!). I only stayed for one night, but would happily have stayed much longer.

Chris and Lin are exceptional hosts. They are warm, friendly and very hospitable. Their home is lovely - the room is very spacious and the amenities are excellent. We were very warm and comfortable despite the snow and cold weather. We were given fantastic recommendations for things to see and do, as well as where to eat. The included breakfast was lovely, especially the fresh bread and croissants - it was an absolute treat to enjoy a meal with others, and after a couple of weeks traveling all over NZ, it made us feel like we were back home sharing a meal with family. Thank you Lin and Chris for your hospitality. We will definitely be recommending your property to our friends and family back home.
