        Terrible value for $220 per night. There is no ventilation in the bathroom or room so the place is very damp and stale. Major condensation on windows block the scenic views. Bathroom paint is really old, chipping and stained. Cooking policy is offensive and cleaning policy is unreasonable - threatens to charge the customers card if dishes are left unwashed. Would not recommend this place.

        Rooms: The shower was broken The drainage system was very slow No stove top or hob for simple cooking

        Terrible experience, the owner was rude and aggressive. She banged on the door at 7am and shouted at us. The rooms were dirty, cheap and nasty. This is simply the worst accommodation I have ever stayed at. Our friends stayed at other places in Wanaka and had a great experience. We stayed at The Lake View Wanaka and it was awful.
