Glen Dene Hunting & Fishing

We went on a trip to Lake Hawea and Glen Dene station in July and couldnt have had a better time. The land, hospitality, accomodation, game and people we got to experience were unreal. We will most likely make it a once yearly trip. I dont think we will have experienced a 10th of what they have to offer in 10 years from now. Absolutely amazing! I can't say enough about Glen Dene and everything of great people here. Plan your trip to get here and see for yourself, but if you still need convincing, I'll add some detail and photos :) My wife and I planned our Honeymoon to NZ and a hunt at Glen Dene. For a good while prior to the trip, Glen Dene was more than helpful in answering all my questions and helping me plan things out. When we arrived, we were blown away by the unconditional hospitality of Richard, Sarah, and the Glen Dene staff. Very professional, knowledgeable, and caring are the words I would use to initially describe. The scenery, views, and of course the animals we saw were straight out of fantasy! The entire experience is something we will never forget!

Glen Dene Hunting is a fantastic spot for a hunting experience. Great people, great property. We will be going again!
