        A wonderful place to take a hike and escape from the crowds around Te Anua. Plenty of camping spots in the area and this South Lake Loop is beautiful. Allow 3-4 hours for your trek and take water and a snack or lunch. I understand that there is good fishing as well in the rivers flowing into both lakes.

        Otherwise known as Mavora Lakes. A delightful camping spot. Plenty of room and different types of campsites to choose from - nestled in the forest or with the river at your back. DoC campsite so facilities are Ling drop toilets and lake water.
