        So beautiful. But I dont think the sandflies are worth it. Sheltered in our tent for most of the night because of the sandflies. I have never experienced such a thing. Pretty ruthless sandflies. Maybe in the winter it would be better.

        Great place to stop off cruising the lake or a wicked wee drive through the back road to the tranquil camping spot. Just take lots of insect repellent, sandflies and mosquitoes are insane.

        If you want an real outback road to take this is it no cellphone coverage beautiful scenery and let someone know you are going. A 4x4 is better to take or ute.
