        A quiet and small freedom camping site in Fiordland National Park. Open to all non self contained campers, no cost to stay. An ideal location for families with plenty opportunites for swimming, boating, fishing, hunting and hiking. Sandfly spray a necessity. Lock up all food to avoid screeching possums through the night. Pitch tents under the forest trees, just steps from the lake water, or caravans / vehicles can park in a small gravel area. Plenty room for tents to spread out, ground is not super level but is very soft and mushy. Vehicles likely to have a harder time with having enough room / privacy. Two long drop toilets across from boat ramp. Campfires permitted. No dogs allowed.
