        Dog-friendly, beachside DOC campsite at start/end of Heaphy Track. Sealed road from Karamea for easy caravan access. BBQ and picnic sites, toilets onsite. Campsites are bookable online, semi-private landscaping for your van, beach is rough (no swimming!) but lagoon is a nice, refreshing (quick and chilly) dip after a hike up the Heaphy or if camping) Such an awesome campground!!!!!!!! My favourite DOC campsite
