Totara Studios Accommodation

We loved our stay in Takaka at Totara Studios! The host was so lovely and made us feel right at home, and also gave great recommendations on things to do in the area. Great location and nice tidy amenities. Especially loved the handmade pottery in the unit.

We loved our stay at Totara Studios. Beautifully presented and clean, gorgeous gardens to walk around at our leisure and pick fresh herbs from the garden.Gorgeous pottery in the Studio to use made by Tania. Mark and Tania are fabulous hosts who made us feel very welcome.Thank you Totara Studios is an absolute gem, we can't wait to come back. We are looking forward to our next break in your slice of paradise.

The best place to stay in Takaka, hands down. Beautiful people that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Amazing accom, swimming pool, crystal clear drinking water from their own spring, fresh fruit and home made condiments direct from the land. I could go on and on about how amazing their little slice of paradise is, but my words really cant do the experience justice. We have been before, and we will be back every time we are in the region.

Great location in peaceful, beautiful gardens that include an amazing pool, and close to Takaka town. Units are fresh, spotless and modern with everything you need. Hosts are very friendly without being obtrusive and are great sources of local knowledge. We stayed for 11 nights and absolutely loved our stay. We look forward to many more visits.

This is a beautiful spot with facilities to match. Loved the little touches like the unique, handmade crockery and fresh flowers in the room. Mark, our host, was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable without being intrusive. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!
