Business dinner with overseas visitors. Food presentation and styling was excellent. Quality of produce top notch. Steaks cooked exactly as requested. Complex flavours on display and detail was very good. On the other side of the coin, table service was not where it should be for a restaurant producing this quality of food. Some training needed in how to engage with the customer and the level of attentiveness throughout the evening. When we order another bottle of $120 wine, dont open and pour into the existing glasses that havent been finished yet. A few simple things would lift the service element to be closer to the food element. Our visitors had a great night and we will be back.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at Palate on his birthday. The atmosphere was very nice, the food was incredible ( never had a more tender steak before) and the service was brilliant, very friendly and attentive. We would really recommend if you are in Hamilton to go there and enjoy a fantastic evening.

There is no doubt that the food here is above anything that Iv had in the last few years. They left me both blown away and relaxed at the same time, a perfect blend between amazing food and beautiful atmosphere couple with service second to none. They will see me again, Im all together elevated, relaxed and fulfilled all together..
