Puketui Forest Escape

A gorgeous slice of Paradise in Kinloch. Absolutely loved our stay for 2 nights. The accommodation is gorgeous. Everything was spotlessly clean. Lounge pod has nice bench couches to sprawl out on so you can start the unwind journey. Lots of cushions and warm blankets for if it gets cold but no chance with the very efficient fire place! Bedroom pod has a very comfortable bed with gorgeous linen and warm snuggly duvets and blankets. The outdoor covered kitchen was fun to cook in with everything supplied for a yummy breakfast. Having an upright gas heater was perfect as kept you warm whilst cooking and eating at the German beer feast table. We moved the gas heater to sit by the outdoor bath so you stayed warm when you finally decided you had to get out. The bath was nice and deep with a shower head to use if you needed too and the water was nice and hot. We were able to enjoy an evening by the outdoor fire on our 2nd night which was very nice and so relaxing. Loved listening to the birds trying to out do each other and watching the super friendly inquisitive fan tails flit around! Would love an app that tells you what birds are making certain sounds! Such a magical place. The hosts are fabulous and gave very easy to follow directions making it super easy to find this stunning place to stay and answered any questions quickly. Highly recommend this place and if I could I would give a 10 star rating!! Thank you

Above and beyond! Truly blown away with the whole experience, we stayed for one night and were blessed by the best weather. Got to experience all the amenities and with the 12pm checkout you dont feel rushed. The hosts supply the most amazing high quality food and snacks, and with the smallest engagement over email that it was my partners birthday, it was not only remembered but also some beautiful local birthday treats were supplied, so thoughtful. So grateful to have been able to experience Puketui Escape has to offer. Thanks team x
