Select Homes

My wife and I have built four new homes, the first two for ourselves, the second two for my wife's family farm which we administrate. The first one was a basic home and there were no issues that I recollect [early seventies. ] The second home built in the early two thousands was a total nightmare. Everything that could go wrong went wrong, incorrect doors and windows, waiting weeks for the roof to be put on, garage floor concrete laid by amateurs. When it was decided that my wife's family farm needed a substantial new home for the sharemilker, we approached many building companies to try and find someone who would give us a good hassle free end result. We settled on Select Homes and were that pleased with service and the finished home, that when we needed another home to accommodate an additional employee, we unhesitatingly returned to Select Homes and so have two Select Homes on that farm. I would make special mention of their subcontractors who all go to pains to ensure that what they are doing is what we want, with special mention going to their electrican and Huntly Joinery for the kitchen, windows and doors. All in all I cannot speak too highly of Select Homes and the experience we had with them and would engage them again if the need arose. Ron Watkinson Service: Home building
