Be been to Vine before and very much enjoyed my experience - and was looking forward to eating there again. Having travelled down to Taupo we thought we would go back to Vine, since it was such a good experience last time. Unfortunately when we approached the bar and requested a table, there were none available at the time. No worries - we would have been happy to wait at the bar - however the person behind the bar was very unhelpful, and couldnt take our name for a table, nor did they suggest we grab a drink. All we were told was come back in 45 mins and we might have a table, but I cant guarantee anything and shrugged. We left and found dinner elsewhere - a disappointing experience.
