Taupo Museum and Art Gallery

Went there, had a fun little treasurer hunt and made new friends there. Left a tad more knowledgeable. Definitely visit if you have the time. Entrance fee is cheap, more so for kiddies, so why not support a museum by visiting? Learn more about history in a fun way. Plus theres a nice rose garden just by the side, but thats a whole other review by itself. :)

It's a good place to bring your family in for a visit and they have little quest for the kids too. Great things to look at and good history to read about Taupo. There are artefacts, newspaper clippings which you can read, see, and touch. And next to the museum building there is a beautiful rose garden which you can walk about, sit and relax and enjoy the colourful roses surrounding the you. Take a whiff at the different roses and immerse with the delightful surprise scents from each of them.
